I ran into the same problem as 04mustangGT. I have been taking my terrier to petsmart for 3 years. Today when I took him for his grooming, they told me that he is too matted and that his ears need to be groomed by a vet - an extra $49 on top of the fees for grooming the rest of his body. Took my dog to Doggie Den Groomer and they groomed him and his "so matted ears" and he looks very handsome. Will never take any of my dogs to Petsmart again!!!

I took my dog to get groomed at this store. They told me he was matted when there wasn't even one knot on his body. He gets brushed 2 times a day. How can he have knots??? They didn't even give him the cut we requested. It really looked like they just trimed his hair instead of leaving a half inch. After I got him in the car I started to play with him and noticed they cut one of his ears! NEVER take your pet to them! They just want your money they don't care what happens to your pet!
