Provided by YP.comTerrible....don't send anyone you care for to this place. I'd read the reviews and found good and bad. Well now I know the good ones were probably written by a paid vendor. My dad was only there for 5 days and all his money was stolen. The envelope it was in was still there and ripped open so it was obviously stolen. I have nothing good to write about this place and will never allow anyone I love to stay there again. Beware. I'm so upset with myself for allowing my dad to even step foot in this horrible place.

Provided by YPmobileI was worried about the place after all the reviews, however my grandfather was treated with the utmost respect and got extremely good care. I would take him back to these loving people anytime. I recommend them for the care of your loved one. They are knowledgable, compassionate and I would trust them again. Thank you so much for the care you provided. You are awesome.

Provided by YPmobileThis place is horrible!!! Unbelievable, how this place stays open, how the state allows this place to remain open. It only took less then 24hrs for them to ruin it. They don't know the symptoms of a fever nor can they operate an oxygen tank, maybe it was god sent that he had a fever and was sent back out to the hospital. He won't be going back ..They give him a pillow that was full of water in side. The uneducated CNA's clip his toe nails and he is diabetic I question them about it and they lie about it... Ask them questions and they don't know, thanks to the lying case manager at lovelace my father was put in this hell hole !!! BEWARE

Provided by YP.comI have a dear friend who unfortunately fell into the hands of Princeton Place. Never in my life have I seen such neglect, abuse and total lack of caring or professionalism in my life. Let this be a WARNING...do all that you can to keep your loved ones from this death trap. Not only do they ignore the patients, leaving them in their urine & feces, but they will ignore the yells of patients in complete pain literally crying out for help. Not even an animal is left to suffer such treatment. I have called the so called Unit Manager never to get my call returned and along with this I have attempted to call the Patient Advocate Program, never to receive a call back. Talk about feeling hopeless. We will do everything in our power to get her out of this place, and I urge you never, never, never allow you loved one enter this place. This has been a total nightmare.

Provided by YP.comWe chose Princeton Place because it had a 5-Star rating from Medicare. I don't know what Medicare means by that rating but it was very inflated. I have since checked and found a CMS rating of 3 and I believe that may also be a little inflated.
When they gave us a tour, they showed us the unit they said my father would be in (7) and it looked fine. Not as nice as the 1st floor but, fine. When we admitted him, they put him in unit 2(a lock-down unit). They said it was for a 2-week evaluation to determine if he needed to be in a lock-down unit or not. 2 and a half weeks later, they hadn't called so I called them. "Oh, nobody told me there should be a review for him" the Social worker for that floor said. We live 4 hours away but go to visit him once or twice a week, sometimes staying overnight and visiting him again the next day. So we see a lot that goes on. We told them he was used to taking his showers on Mondays and Fridays and getting a shave on Fridays. They said they'd put it in his chart and do it on those days. 3 wks. later, after having to ask that he be showered and shaved when we came to visit, we took it to the supervisors and they said he wasn't in the computer for any showers. They fixed that problem. We found out they had been dispensing his cigarrettes we supply for him out to the general population and the same with his hearing aid batteries that we provide. He lost one of his hearing aids and the nurse said it probably got gathered up in the laundry and if it did, we might as well kiss it goodbye. I went to the laundry and asked 4 people there what they did with personal items they found in the residents laundry and 3 of them didn't know. I think the 4th person was some type of supervisor and she said that IF she found anything in the laundry, she took it to the head of Social Services. I left a letter in the office of the Head of Social Services asking that she call me if she has it and reported that her laundry people don't know what to do IF they find anything in the laundry. Haven't gotten a call yet and that was 3 days ago so far. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on that one and wait a couple more days. They have closets with keyed locks on them in each residents room but do not lock them. 3 days ago, my sister went to visit and found Dad's Bible and something else (sorry, can't remember) in another man's room. Also, Dad hasn't been able to read the paper that is supposed to come to his room every day (once a week maybe) because his glasses have come up missing. The nurses just say, yeah, there are some residents that like to go into other peoples rooms and take their stuff. Why don't they use the locked closets? One nurse told my sister that my Dad wanders into others rooms and puts his stuff down there. That didn't sound like Dad so she went around asking other nurses if Mr. Dority was known for that and they answered that he was one of the few that didn't go where he wasn't supposed to.
Every little thing that happens takes an act of congress to fix. Needless to say, we only managed to get the Social Service worker to give us some hearing aid batteries she had in her desk drawer. and the paper got delivered to Dad's room yesterday. Yesterday, he went to the hospital for pneumonia and severe dehydration. Surprise Surprise. We're looking for another place for him but it's hard. People, by in large, care more about the money than the people. Good luck in your search, Julia Weeks
