Pulte utilizes the lowest bidder, and barely meets codes (Codes are the minimum requirement). Workmanship is poor at best. Structurally the home is questionable. The second floor joists are not right, and make constant squawk when even the lightest (2 year old) walks on it, ceiling drywall had to be removed and replaced in 2/3 of the home because of poor finish, leaving insulation, dust and debris throughout the home, and front yard. The plumbers used undersized drains and had to tear up all the front yard landscape to run a new line to the side bathroom to meet the code requirement for drain sizing. HVAC a joke, couldn't get the home to stay 70 degrees in the summer time due to poorly designed system and undersized inefficient components leaving several months a year with $400+ electric bills for cooling. I could write a book on the problems with Pulte and its poor customer service..
