Provided by YP.comMy daughter and I walked in and asked for acrylic nails and 1 color ($25) right away he sat my daughter down and the nail employee got straight to work(very polite). After finishing we went up to the front and the the man charged us $42 and said we got gel. We had never asked for gel nails and he started loosing his temper because we had told him what my daughter wanted in the beginning instead of the lady doing the pedicure. This shows a great lack of communication in the salon. My whole experience was great up until I had to speak to the greedy uneducated man.

Provided by YPmobileMy appointment is at 10:00 and Tu was already coloring 2 other customers hair...I had to wait as usual. While I waited, they pressured me into getting a manicure. I saw the girl use the same clippers she used on the last person without sterilization! She made me bleed once. When she completed my manicure, she put her tools right back in her box for the next usage! Back to the hair color. I showed her a picture of the color and she said no problem. We used 4 different colors (since they make more money that way).I asked for a warm brown and my hair came out orange blonde!!! I was not happy at all. She blamed me for the color! She picked the colors to achieve what I requested. Ultimately, she had to redo the whole thing all over again. I missed my nieces wedding, my hair got frizzy ends that break when you touch it :( I'm so miserable. At the end, I paid $188 with extremely damaged hair.

Provided by YP.comCommunication is a problem, they speak broken English... I paid 100$ for a perm yesterday, my hair didn't take well because it is "damaged" well as a "professional" hair salon they should have informed me prior to having me sit in a chair for 3hr and waste time and money for it to be more damaged, I contacted Saigon and initially it seemed as though the salon was willing to compensate and make a disappointed customer happy. I was informed to return to the salon and they'd redo my hair, of course I was not interested in causing further damage to my hair, I asked for nail job instead of more hair problems, I was sat down for a 40$ nail job, informing the employee why I was even there (compensation for my hair) he completes the nails and directs me for pedicure, the guy said they'll do feet to match my nails, I specifically stated "ok whatever you guys are going to do for me cuz (again) Im only here for my hair job frm yesterday." they sit me done and do a 40$ pedi, I was happy at this point, under the impression they were taking care of the issue. When all was done I went to front explained to them it all should be free cuz my 100 was wasted on hair yesterday, they said I have to pay for the pedi. I was informed to speak with manager, where she argued with me in middle of salon, saying she offered only nail set. - It was a miscommunication problem on her employees end, he should of never offered more service free, he should of verified with his boss. IDK how they do it in Vietnam but the employee should of been "discipline/ punished" for the misunderstanding NOT the customer. She took it out on me saying I needed to call someone to bring me money (I had money in the car), saying I even got an "expensive" pedi, AGAIN I was sitting there telling everyone "ITS WHATEVER YOU ALL ARE GOING TO DO FOR ME, IM NOT PAYING, ITS COMP FOR MY HAIR" - after arguing with MANAGER, in front of other customers, I reluctantly paid for the pedi which I was manipulated in to getting. I went to correct a 100$ issue and ended up paying the company More... I will never return.

Provided by YPmobileWas by far the worst experience I've encountered. I went in for a pedicure and manicure, the lady doing my pedicure not once did she acknowledge me. I was sitting on the one of the chairs and the lady just told me to get off and pick up my things. I messed up my pedicure cause no one even helped me! They lady was mad and told me to sit back down and she re did my pedicure very angry! She was extremely rude! I told the manager what happened and all he could say was that he was sorry. He did not offer me a discount or anything. I told him I was very unhappy and hated the service I just had received, and he said I can't do anything about it! I told him I didn't want to pay for my pedicure and he completely ignored me and was extremely rude and disrespectful. I went in for a good service, my money's worth, and received the complete opposite!

Provided by YP.comMy hairdresser was friendly and professional. She cut my long hair short in no time and in style. The price is reasonably affordable. Shampoo and haircut for 20, you can't beat that. She also made good suggestions and made no sales pitch. Her name is Judy.

Provided by YPmobileJust last week I went to get highlights redone in my hair. Ive had the owner highlight my hair twice and did a good job but because she was off on Wednesday the guy at the reception desk told me Kenny is a good stylist. After I got my highlights done the top layer looked good and I didn't bother checking the underneath til I was gonna put my hair up a couple of days later. I had a big bleach stain on one side of my hair and the other side had nothing but blonde hair. When I went back to have Kenny redo my hair he told me he didn't see anything wrong with my hair. I was like seriously! Let me show u the mistakes. He told me I saw that splotch on ur hair when u left. I was like why didn't u say anything to me or fix it. I got no response. He redid my hair but it ended up the same as I walked in. I ended up going to a different stylist who told me he didn't even weave my hair for the highlight. He just grabbed a strand of my hair and highlighted it and it wasn't even to the root, it was a whole finger length away on my whole head. When I called to talk to the owner the guy who sits at the reception desk, who always asks me for a tip, had a fit yelled at me that she was busy and to come in and see her. I live an hour from there. I will not be doing my hair there again or anything else. I will say that Lynn and Polly are nice and polite and do an excellent job with waxing and eyelash perms. But I'm so upset I refuse to give the salon anymore of my money.

Provided by YP.comIt helps to know english in this day and age. I made an inquiry to the owner about being able to cut long hair? She misunderstood me and went off on a tangent about...that is like asking you, can you breath. Of course, I cut long hair...blah blah blah. It was surreal. I do go to a stylist there named Kenny. He is an awesome colorist, to his credit. I think he needs to move to a better shop. However, I think he is connected to the family there.

Provided by YP.comSaigon Beauty Salon has been a saviour for me. I won't go to the chain salons and thus often skipped haircuts. However, Saigon has been a great solution. I get a very professional haircut and they take their time. I get good results at a price I can afford. I was sent by a friend who could easily spend more, but is satisfied with the haircuts she gets at Saigon. We have both had good luck with eyebrow waxing. I have never had nails done at Saigon, but I have another friend who goes to Saigon Beauty and her nails look good.

Provided by YP.comI WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! I paid 149.50 for a perm which is the most I have ever paid for a disaster!! I have really long beautiful hair and I have gotten my hair permed at least 4 times in the past 6 years and my hair was always turned out great, so I knew what I was talking about when I tried to explain that my hair was destroyed and I would not be able to fix it for another 2 months unless I want to damage it even more. They permed my hair and it looks so awful (curly straight curly is how it looks)!! I cried this past weekend because I am so upset with their so called professional services. The manager yelled at me in front of all the customers and her employees that she will only redo my hair in a week which is too soon and she wont give me a refund because of all the competition. I ran out crying because I lost $150 and my hair cannot be fixed for 2 months and THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU BUT YOUR MONEY!!! Oh and I forgot to mention: who knows what they say in their language when they walk by and stare you right in your face. SO UNCOMFORTING!!!!
