We could not possibly have helped for a more fun, a more welcoming, or a more thoughtful venue for our homecoming and we could not possibly imagine a wedding anywhere else. Scalo was been home for us since even before Brooke began working their, in fact, the first time we had a formal dinner date there she poker her finger in my chest , jersey style, and told me she wanted to marry me! Steve thank you for all of your thoughtful help with the venue, for your cash gift and most of all for taking time out of your hectic schedule to join us. We are truly lucky to have you.

I have been eating at Scalo since it opened about 20 years ago. It is one of the three best restaurants in Albuquerque. Scalo has two pleasant outdoor patios one for the restaurant and one for the bar. The owner Steve Paternoster knows his guests and visits the tables. Their seafood and duck dishes are some of my favorites. Great pastas. It has an excellent wine selection with a temperature controlled wine room so that wines are always in top condition.
