At the time i applyed for help with my gas i had a disconnect notice. I was having a difficult time paying my bill. I was so thankful Saint Vincent de Paul was willing to help me. I found out from a phone call that they failed to make the payment and that I had 15 day to figure things out. I found out that the volunteer made a huge mistake and sent the payment to my electric company instead of the gas company. I was stunned. I depended on them to make that payment. I got a call from the volunteer stating that there was nothing he can do to help me and I should be happy they helped me with my Electric. I tryed to call again to make a report so that maybe this would not happen to anyone else but no one cared. So I did my own research and found out that this old man that volenteers had done this several times to others. I understand my being behind on my bill was my fault but Saint Vincent's de Paul did nothing to help correct this mistake which was wrong of them. If your applying for help from them make sure the payment goes to the right place.
