Provided by YP.comI'm dumbfounded at how brazenly they abandoned their customers over the holidays 2010/2011, and at how little the folks at the UPS hotline cared! Throughout the time surrounding New Year's, the workers at this location simply hung a sign on the door saying they'd be closed for the rest of the day starting at whatever time they chose. 1pm, 2pm (web site said their hours were until 6pm, verified by the posted hours at their location and the 1-800 number). They did this from 2 days before their New Year's weekend, and I guess they realized they were getting away with it because they started up again the same way after the holiday. I had to pick up a package on hold which was scheduled to be returned to the sender after 5 days and my work schedule didn't allow me to pick up during their chosen abbreviated hours. Each time I went down I encountered numerous irate customers who agreed that they would not be using this facility again (so I hope those who read this will adjust the weight of this review accordingly). I tried to be a good customer and report this to a supervisor through the 1-800 number. The best I got was a guy named Jim in Salt Lake City who told me he would "send a message" to somebody who works at the location and suggest that they try to keep to regular hours. I did my best to get him to connect me with a supervisor above him but he repeatedly told me that there was nobody above him in the customer service/ complaint phone chain. One would expect a company as big and supposedly professional as UPS to care more about serving their customers (or at least not brazenly cutting them loose), especially since FedEx, USPS and others offer competition. I will certainly not be using UPS again if I have another option.
