New owner bought building. A HUD building. Carport rents doubled. Club room pictures on sites webpage is history. Being converted to a huge fitness room to replace the original building designed smaller one hardly used. Heated indoor/outdoor pool no longer outdoor in winter months. Cars in secured parking area now regularly stolen or vandalized. Commercial management company located in Dallas/Phoenix is national, faceless corporation. Removed common library and crammed "club room" into it w/o TV or sink and refrigerator/stove used for building events. Tiny. All rents going up in a building built in the 1970's. Cost to rent is now in the mortgage price area. Logic is to attract young hipsters but past history indicates this group stays lest than a year and moves on to buy a house. Expect high turn-over. Can smell pot in the elevators. Better deal in safer areas around.
