Buyer Beware!

See comments at Twin City Buick. They are side by side and looking for prey. They are rude, unresponsive, show you what They want to sell, not what You are interested in. Though you express disinterest in their choices time and time again. They keep driving when you say you don't like it. They Repeatedly ask you if you want to drive even though the answer is repeatably No. What a waste of time. When you walk out they show your husband things, for You. LIsten to your customers folks! What a turn-off. Also pre-approved and still they constantly insist you finance through them. Preapproved and still they just have the need for tricks used to increase their profit. We know it is your job to get us to overpay. Filling out deal sheets with lots of numbers is your battleground. Then ask what we can pay down , we say a figure they say up to;? How much do you want your monthly payment to be? You give a figure. They say upto? They put the price on top in big letters. Then various fees and packages. It is a business. But how crazy it is to try and treat customers with respect while manipulating them. That close to the sticker price.

I would say BUYER BEWARE!

I went to Twin City Buick and Mazda today. A car had a sticker of 11999. A salseman named Adam Bunch gave us the key. We test drove. The air conditioner did not work. I offered 11600 out the door. He kept showing cars I was not interested in. I asked him to go to finance and find something out about 3 different times. He just didn't. He said they would not fix the air and if they did the price would go up. It was blowing , vents were working. I assumed it needed freon. I went to another mans office. The card on the desk read Jeff Martin. He went to finance a few times. I Thought we had a deal. In the mean-time Adam Bunch came looking for me and said I was in the wrong office. He wanted me to look at ANOTHER car. I was not interested. I approached the door to look at the car from inside the window. A man in a tall cubicle where Paul from Q 93 was broadcasting live said Jeff has already worked something out with her. Jeff returned. Then went to talk to Adam. He then wanted more money and stated they would not fix the air, he was rather rude. A who cares attitude! As we were leaving another man came out to jump-start our car as we had left the lights on. He said what happened? Can I do something to help? We were explaining the problem when another came out with this Jeff Martin and yelled to the man GET YOUR A back to work! Really folks. Twin City has a long way to go. I talked to Paul from Q93. I offered to tell my experience live on air. He gave me tickets to a water attraction in Gatlinburg. After all that was a great paying gig for Paul. Thanks Paul! I also found a 2005 Volkswagon convertible with fewer miles, better price, Kenwood Navigation, a rear backup sensor and COLD AC!. All in Sevierville.! A better deal and a water ride! Yeah Ha!

I dealt with Twin City Nissan in October of 2010. I was pre-approved through ORNL. I sat there 4 hours the first time. I was dealing with a salesman named Travis. I kept asking what was taking so long. They were near closing and I left. I told them I was pre-approved. Went back the next day Travis was not there. I sat there 5 hours (pre-approved)! I walked out! said forget it. The manager came out and apologized. He said if I returned the next day he would take care of me. As we were wrapping up the deal I told him Travis said it was making a noise in the wheel and that the dealership would fix it. Jim asked Travis, he looked right at me and denied it. WOW! I was angry. They agreed to have the service department check it out. The service department said it was only the after market brakes and that the brakes were fine, however unless I bought them from the dealer there would be no-way to stop the noise. I drove to Kentucky. The wheel almost fell off. I pulled into a local Firestone. The manager at Firestone in Newport Kentucky was Wesley. He said I was lucky I was not killed. He said any legitimate service repair shop would have seen that. Approximately 375.oo dollars later and a new wheel bearing and those after market brakes never made a sound!. The manager from Firestone called the Twin City Nissan Service Department. . I returned to Knoxville to get re-imbursed. First they came out and said I could only get 150.00 back. I asked for the manager I believe his name to be Ken Weaver. I explained to him their own service department looked at it and were either incompetent or dishonest and that Firestone would stand behind me. Ken did an outstanding job of refunding the cost and charging it to the service department. Now that was exactly what I would have done in his shoes. I then bought a chrome Nissan plate to put on the front. Jim asked Travis to put it on. Travis said he couldn't unless he drilled holes in the front of my car. I then went to parts and asked the no-brainer.They laughed and said it only takes a screw driver. Jim then asked the service department, they said they were closing soon. Lou then took a screw driver and there it was.
