Established in 1959, Southern Campbell Fire District works to protect the lives, property and environment from the threats and occurrences of emergencies. The department provides fire prevention and emergency response services. It covers an area of more than 45 square miles. Southern Campbell Fire District provides public education programs that include injury prevention curriculum, fire safety house tours, hazard house safety simulator, smoke detector installation and fire and life safety presentations for local groups and schools. It works with a team of firefighters. Southern Campbell Fire District is located in Alexandria, Ky.
