Opened in 1953, D. F. Huddle Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade six and also operates a preschool. It offers academic programs in language arts, science, social studies, reading and mathematics. The school also offers the Title 1 program, which includes free and reduced meals to low-income families. D. F. Huddle Elementary School has an approximate enrollment of 250 students and a staff of nearly 20 employees.
