One of the most trusted watch repair shops in town. They have lots of clients I can tell when I went here for watch repair. But they manage it well.

They sell great quality watches in here, I love that they have so many items to choose from and they also have a wide reach for prices, they actually have cheap ones in here.

Mr Dietzel is a wise craftsman with an old world charm. I used his services to replace my watch battery which he did on the spot. It was a little pricey ($26.25) but I'm ok with supporting these small mom and pop stores. It looks like he also works on clocks, music boxes, and other fragile trinkets. He's only open 3 days a week so you need to work around his schedule. He works on the items the other days of the week full time it seems.

If you're looking for a personal touch for your item, he's a great choice.

My Grandfather's Omega watch got water in it and I called Mr. Dietzel to inquire about repair. I live local so I drove to his shop and my watch was repaired very fast and at a reasonable price while I waited. He seems expert in old watches and clocks. I would use him again!

Mr. Dietzel's work is a little expensive, but he's one of the few remaining of a dying breed--he can actually repair clocks and watches (rather than merely changing the battery in one). He has repaired the frame of a cherished family heirloom clock, resuscitated dead watches, and, yes, even changed the battery of some watches that defied my own efforts to change the battery. His hours are consistent, but unusual, so be sure to call a few days ahead of your planned visit. The entrance to his shop is a few steps below street-level in a large commercial building between Wythe (to the north) and Pendleton. Street parking is limited. The closest free parking is across the street in the garage beneath 685 N. Washington (entrance to garage is on Wythe near corner of Wythe and Washington on the east side of Washington).
