I wanted crab's for my birthday but didn't want to drive to Maryland. Found Ernie's on King Street. We could not find it at the address on Fern Street. Great crabs. Great iced tea.

Don't let the decor or the fact that they are in Old Town Alexandria fool you...this is an authentic crab house! The food is prepared SUPER HOT and the crabs are fresh! Make sure you get some home made sweet iced tea to guzzle down with the steamed crabs. The jumbo shrimp is truly jumbo! I can admit that I felt heavier when I left -- but it was worth it!
