George Mason School was built in 1939 and is fully accredited by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Its staff includes more than 35 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes a psychologist, social worker, nurse and guidance counselor. The school is fully networked with Internet access in every classroom. George Mason School s academic curriculum includes reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies and science. It organizes after-school tutoring and language programs in French, Spanish and Chinese. Located in Alexandria, Va., the school maintains foreign language, homework and mileage clubs.
