I have had my hair done at this salon for many years....first at their Springfield Mall location and now at their Kingstowne location. I think that it's great, and I have never had a problem with them. All of the employees have been helpful and friendly. Mike, who cuts my hair, is a wonderful person and a very accomplished hair professional. I recommend Giani's often, and would not have my hair done anywhere else.

I got my hair colored (foil highlights and lowlights) and cut by Fares yesterday. This was the second time I went to him. I agree with the other reviews, he has no personality but it doesn't bother me if he could do my hair the way I want it. I showed him a photo and he said ok. Half way through coloring it, Fares went to cut someone else's hair and had the girl that blow-dries hair (who was practicing on a manikin head the last time I was in, so obviously in training) do the underside back of my hair. Other than the fact they were using me as a guinea pig, she was much too rough when putting in the foils and kept pushing on my head, forcing my head to snap back and forth. When I had my shampoo by a nice young man, he was much too rough as well. I'm not someone with a sensitive head, but I do not like being treated so roughly. The cut was fabulous and the girl who blow-dries hair is fabulous as well. That being said, my hair color turned out nothing like the picture. It is hideously chunky tiger striped an ugly red and bright yellow. It is an absolutely horrendous color(s). When the salon opens this morning, I am calling to get a refund so I can get someone else who knows what they are doing to hopefully fix it. If they refuse to give me my money back, I will be posting a photo of my horribly botched hair on here. DO NOT GO TO FARES FOR COLOR. I'd still recommend him for a cut.
