Holmes Middle School is a coeducational public school that offers academic programs to more than 700 students in grades seven and eight. The school is a part of Fairfax County Public Schools. It teaches a variety of subjects, such as foreign language, health education, mathematics, music, social studies, technology, visual art, English, and home and career skills. It has a staff of over 25 full-time certified teachers and a parent-teacher organization. The school s facility includes a cafeteria, library media center, auditorium, computer lab, and art and music room. It also maintains a student council and guidance and counseling department.
