Guitar and Bass Lessons, Guitar Repairs, Setups and Modifications, Recording Studio Music lessons are not only fun, but it's been shown that they enhance brain pathways that are used in many other areas of life. Guitar lessons and bass lessons are not only rewarding but grow your brain! I teach all styles of guitar lessons and bass lessons except classical, flamenco & shredding. I love teaching, and guitar lessons and bass lessons are my chance to share my love of music with others. Guitar playing is FUN, and my teaching style is to find what you want to play, and inject necessary concepts into your guitar lessons. To that I can add as much more music theory as you care to learn. I include the best techniques in your guitar or bass lessons so your playing will sound polished and competent. Because of my background in bands, I can teach you everything you need to know to play rhythm guitar, lead guitar, or bass guitar in a band. Though guitar lessons often start with learning to read chord diagrams and tab for both guitar and bass lessons (even standard music notation, if you want), my goal is usually to use ear training and music theory to enable you to hear a song you like, and figure out how to play it by ear. I have a library of over 3,500 tunes we can draw from, you can bring in an mp3 player, thumb drive or CD or we can just find songs you want to learn online. I have been repairing and modifying guitars since I was a teenager. For years now I have professionally repaired, set up and modified fine electric instruments. Most guitars will play much better after a professional setup. Hundreds of parts, strings, etc. are in stock. All my work is guaranteed, and turnaround is quick. Your guitar is treated like it was one of mine, and it always goes out as much like new or better as possible. Recently remodeled recording studio run by Morgan Henry who cut his studio teeth in 1978 (Loft Studios) and has been recording ever since.
