Mondloch House Shelters, a part of New Hope Housing established in 1978, is the oldest and largest provider of shelter beds throughout Northern Virginia. It provides shelter, nutritional meals, and transitional and permanent housing to homeless individuals with mental disorders. The services offered by the center include case management, mental health assistance, dental services, counseling, life skills classes, recreational activities, community-based events, and social and cultural programs. The facility is owned by the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority, and operated under a contract with the Department of Family Services. Mondloch House Shelters is located in Alexandria, Va.
