My husband and I have used Kingstowne cleaners for approx. five years. Each week we take in several shirts, slacks, blouses, skirts, suits, etc. Our bill is quite high, however, it has been worth it, at least until lately. Apparently they are using a different group to dry clean and press, as well as new counter people. I have had to send slacks back to have repressed, only to have them come back still the same or worse, stains on shirts they say they cannot remove, only to have them come back with stains that were not there in the first place, broken buttons, and more. the staff that was there before could not do enough to help and was always cheerful. the new counter people act as though they do not want to be bothered and seem surprised when I bring back an item to have repressed or recleaned. I took a Tommy Bahama shirt back twice to remove spots, that they said they could not remove, (this being one that had more stains when I picked it up then when I dropped it off.), I paid for the first cleaning, and they tried to make me pay for the second. I refused and took the shirt to Crest cleaners. They cleaned the shirt, removed the stains, and pressed the shirt for less than Kingstowne cleaners. good by Kingstowne cleaners.
