Pete Plamondon, Sr. believed so strongly in the original Roy Rogers brand that he left Marriott to become a Roy Rogers franchisee, eventually purchasing the chain himself. Knowing that the best way to keep Roy Rogers true to its original vision was to keep it in the family, Plamondon, Sr. sold the business to his sons, Pete Jr. and Jim, in 1998. Over the past two decades, the Plamondon brothers have helped open and operate multiple Roy Rogers Restaurants, maintaining their father's vision for offering guests an experience above and beyond that of most fast food restaurants. Today, the Plamondon Companies remains faithful to the Roy Rogers tradition of serving an appealing choise of menu items, made with the best ingredients, and served in a comfortable, enjoyable setting. That commitment has resulted in steady growth foe our company and a fiercely loyal following throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.

I've been here in Spring Break 1984, when I was 2nd Grade! I was leaving then north of Greenville, South Carolina in Travelers Rest! I lived there from 1978 to '87! Then to Huntsville, Alabama from 1987 to '88! And then on to Houston where I live now!
I surely want Roy Rogers to expand southward and westward! That's to South Carolina, including Charleston and Greenville, which one to be constructed in North Augusta, one to be constructed on the east side of U.S. 17 on the Georgia St Line, and one in Travelers Rest on the southeast corner of U.S. 25 (Gateway Parkway) and Hawkins Rd! Travelers Rest got growth since Late 2011! Roy Rogers to go westward from there into Georgia including Atlanta, Augusta, Savannah, Columbus, and Macon, into Alabama, which I'd want Huntsville, Montgomery, and Phenix City! I'd want a westward movement into Texas into Houston! In Houston, I'd want one to open in a Chevron Gas ⛽ Station 🚉, on 9201 North Loop East Freeway, Houston, Tx 77029!
