I visited Sussex At Kingstowne and I really thought they treated me unfairly and I wrote a review and was honest about their interaction with me and I moved on. They refunded me my 150.00 months later and it was a pleasant suprise and I give them five for integrity and honesty for righting a wrong done me, in my opinion. Their apartments are gorgeous and I really wanted to live their. I am still puzzled as to why a veteran with a steady income has to get a co signer in order to obtain an apt. And how a check was run without a ssn and why the latino with bad english thought I would really be stupid enough to give him my ssn. At any rate they turned and did right by me a poor little Sr. female veteran. And I am so grateful for a forumn to let my voice be heard.

This is the worst apartments we have ever lived in. There customer service is awful. In order to discuss an issue we ended up having to call the corporate office in order to get the office to take the time to talk to us. There windows and doors are not weather proofed so you are either having to crank the heat or the ac way up in order to get it comfortable in your apartment. Maintenance takes forever to fix issues. We were out of a washing machine for almost 3 weeks before the fixed ours. During the winter the parking lot is a safety hazard because the don't clear the snow very well. We have had issues with ants and spiders coming due to the improper sealing of the doors and windows. The landscaping crew doesn't take care to not blow the grass all over your patio so your stuff gets covered due to laziness. You can hear your neighbors every move almost. I could go on but it just seems to be issue after issue with them. If you are thinking of moving here please think again it is not worth the money. The only thing this place has going for it is that it shows well.
