Outstanding!! The meal and the atmosphere is great.



I have never had a bad service or meal. Vaso knows her restaurant clientele and business well that she made this place successful. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to make a good impression on a first date or entertaining a business client.

Vaso opened her restaurant in 2007. Since then, we eat at Vaso's whenever we are near the north side of Old Towne. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. Friday and Saturday nights are always filled with happy end-of-the-week patrons. We give it 4 stars (it needs to be larger, but the building is an historic landmark, and restaurant space cannot be enlarged there). When her lease is up (3 more years), we hope she moves to a much larger location -- then she will get 5 stars!

Best Kept Secret in Alexandria - Just ignore the Historical Building Pigly Wiggly BBQ sign and you will havea great eating experience. Very good food-medium portions.
