Friday night fish fry is great. We did wait for a table but that just tells me the food is good. If there isn't a waiting line, then obviously the food isn't good enough to wait for. The food is definitely good enough to wait for! We went into the bar to have a drink and our table was ready in 15 minutes! Bartender was polite, informative and friendly. She offered us their Mai Tai and it was delicious! She also suggested looking over the menu while we were sipping on our drinks and explained the specials to us. I will be back again for the All You Can Eat buffet which was highly recommended by our bartender and the other patrons in the bar!

Food is great..been there at lunch, dinner and late night. Daytime bartender not so friendly, night time girls on Friday and Saturday are very friendly. My first time was a Friday evening and the bartender introduced me to all the locals and gave me some pointers on the Algonquin area. Something to be said about the management...if you have employees working at a place for over 15 years then you must be doing something right. Fun with karaoke and attended a "meat raffle", too. Best pizza, is the Beer Pizza and the chicken and fish fry is awesome.

Looks like all the reviews are five stars. If you wonder why, it means you havent been here.This place has been serving some of the best pizza for 20 plus years. The food is great. The price is great. The service is great. You can't go wrong.See you there, and bring your friends

I have lived around Algonquin for 15 years and used to live on Harrison by their old location. I love their food!!!!!!!!It is excellent

WE CATERED A PARTY FOR ABOUT 150 PEOPLE. THE RIVERVIEW HAD LARGE PORTIONS, GOT US ALL SET UP. THE FOOD WAS HOT AND DELICIOUS. WE THOUGHT THAT THE TRADITIONAL BUFFET WAS PERFECT.

I had Riverview cater a business luncheon and it was perfect. I will use them again.

I like to go to The Riverview. The food & service is always great. I love the foldoughvers.

I love pizza and The Riverview is the BEST!!!! This is the ONLY place to order pizza around Algonquin & Lake in the Hills. I know people who drive for miles to get a Riverview pizza

This is our absolute favorite restaurant. We have been going to The Riverview for over 15 years & we are never disappointed. They also have a great catering menu for our parties at home. Definite thumbs up!

We have yet to find a restaurant with ribs that compare to The Riverview's. We have compared it to Carsons & The Gale Street Inn. The Riverview's ribs are better than any we have tried. Their ribs a meaty, tender and just about fall off of the bones. Their sauce is exceptional. This is a definite place to go if you really like baby back ribs.

We love The Riverview food. This is where you go for the BEST pizza around. They have a lot of specialty pizzas & they are all good. The burgers here are fantastic. ###When we went to The Riverview we had very good service & we will definately go back.

I ordered from the Riverview for a 50th birthday party. Everyone loved the food. The service was great. They even made a few dishes that we wanted that were not even on their regular catering menu. We will definately order from here again.

We have been eating at The Riverview for about 20 years. This place has great food especially the BBQ ribs that practically fall right off of the bone. The service is always fast and friendly whether we eat there or have the food delivered. Highly recommended!

We order from The Riverview all of the time. The pizza is exceptional..... the best in Algonquin & LITH's. My favorite pizza is the Hickory Chicken BBQ or the BBQ pizza. When we order for delivery it is always fast and hot.

We ordered from The Riverview for a recent graduation party. The food was on time, hot, and delicious. The portions were large and more than enough for the number of people served. We will use The Riverview Catering for our next party--for sure!

As a server in a first class restaurant in the city, I may be a little "picky." However, I did let the hired help know that I was in the industry. ie: I am an excellent tipper if I get good service. Not only was the older woman who the "regulars" knew as the "Harley" grandma rude, her service as well as her personality was unacceptable. I went for drinks and dinner with friends but we left after about 45 minutes of getting a "sour taste" in our mouth. I won't go back.

do not eat here.the food is bad really bad. if you love grease then you might like it.
