It's hard to find a VW mechanic outside a dealership. After calling a dozen "German Auto Mechanics", people started telling me, "You have to go to Mueller."

Mueller's lot is packed with cars they're working on, and visually this can be a little off-putting at first, but their work is honest; I never fear they'll charge me for work that isn't necessary. If they're not sure about something, they'll tell me. If I don't need something fixed, they'll tell me. Sometimes VW owners know the pain of replacing a tiny $500 part, but Mueller explains the problem, and the whole thing is MUCH MUCH cheaper than the VW dealer.
