bad clinic because of one rule if you test positive for

benzodiazepines(xanax,ativan,klonopin,valium) 3 times in a row they kick you out. They

dont kick you out for cocaine but that because there in aliquippa where you can walk a

couple hundred feet and get coke/crack and this is known by all counselors but only a

quarter of the point this benzo rule is targeted at a few patients who either refuse

to turn in their prescriptions or genuinly have benzo problem but instead of trying to

help these people they kick them out where they go back to old habits

lying,stealing,scheming basically putting the honest man in the way of the unhonest addict

who else are they going to steal from. So why allow patients to do any drug they want and

not get booted except benzos why not try to help them while they're there in my opinion

as a counselor we need to help these "targeted" people. I being a counselor am privi to

meetings amongst staff and i see more people personally having cocaine problems

so why only get kicked out for benzo's

Also i have had many patients who could care less about benzo's until they meet someone

selling their legit scripts so patients come in hooked on opiates and get kicked for

benzos now they're addicted to 2 drugs i just see it as a waste i am a counselor not just

an opiate-counselor

i make so much progress with a patient who gets kicked out before i can get to the other

usually new addiction which is a lot easier to deal with than a hardcore heroin addict

also being who i am i have proof of leaniency when it comes to whats called an

Auto-fail(telling us you cant pee) actually i have a lady who had 8 autofails in a year

SO IN MY OPINION YOUR BETTER TO AUTOFAIL THAN GIVE A DIRTY URINE FOR BENZOS

it at least buys me more time to try to get to the root of the problem and help the addict

also there are are cocaine anon meetings at this clinic but not 1 benzo-help group

in my opinion we are setting them up to fail everytime we kick somebody out

these are people seeking help for years of addiction and if they show 3 months of benzo

dirty urines they're kicked out before i even break the surface of their addiction

fair or not you decide your the ones who have to live in a society of addicts



ifeel like im not working for healthmasters but BENZOMASTERS because most get addicted

to benzos here then we boot'em for it
