09/14/2016 we ate lunch at Minnie Sophrona's. My son was excited to take his Mom and sister to this Resturant in his home town. As we were finishing our meal and paying the bill a woman was sitting at the table behind us with a red French fry basket counting the the receipts. Someone distracted her and she turned around to finish her task at hand. She started saying someone took the money! It must have been her (pointing at me) she could have just picked it up. She stole my money! She continued to point and accuse me of stealing the money. We spent $31.00 and left a 20% tip. I am telling my daughter and she doesn't believe the woman is accusing me. We walk across the street and the police arrive and walk to my window. They ask me about the theft, if I have cash in my purse and how much. I told the officer yes I had cash and a receipt from the ATM for the amount I withdrew. I was mortified! The officer explained we were not locals that made us suspects.

Wonderful family atmosphere..and great homemade food! especially friday night dinners..5-8 pm

the dishwashers hott and the food was really good untill the cook candy got fired...
