Provided by YP.comI never write reviews but I am compelled to write this one. I came in and purchased my son sport goggles and they came in on a Thursday and let me know I tried to pick them up Friday before my sons game but could not get there before they closed I call the phone number just to see the hours for tomorrow since my son has a soccer game Saturday morning at 9 I was hoping to get them for him. To my surprise someone answered the phone I was so excited cause I thought maybe they were open I asked what time they closed she said 5 it was 620 so I then asked what time they opened in the morning she said 8, then something amazing happened she asked me if she could help me with anything. I explained my dilemma. She said she was the office manager and she was out to eat right then but when she was done she would call me and meet me at the office to get the glasses. REALLY WOW. So around 715 I got a call and picked up the glasses. Wait the story doesn’t end about 2 weeks later my dog chewed the glasses up so I called again TODAY I got the office manager again she remembered me and the first question was when was my sons next game I said Saturday but I know his RX is strong and I understand if you can’t get them. She said she would have them Friday and if I can’t get to the office she would deliver them to my home Friday after work. Are you serious this is great? Wow what wonderful customer service.

Provided by YP.comIwent in to MFV to get some new oakleys and Kayla helped me get not 1 pair but 2! They were having a buy 1 get 1 sale and that was great. I love oakleys but i had never seen the ones she showed me. They actually have interchangeable part to make them a different color. Thanks Kayla!

Provided by YP.comI called Modern Family at 8:30 last night. My eye was red and bothering me. The office mgr answered the phone called a Dr. then called me back. Then they worked me in first thing this morning. I didnt even have to wait! What service! Thanks Kim and Modern Family yall are great.

Provided by YP.comIt seemed like I was going to a really great "Family Vision Clinic" re the staff and doctors. I have been going to Modern Valley Vision for over 10 yrs. now and they always treat me like family! I actually look forward to going to the doctor! Can you believe that?

Provided by YP.comEverything went very well at my first visit. I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Castro. She was very easy to talk to and was very good about explaining everything that was going to take place. When it came time to pick out my glasses, I was assisted by April. She was extremely helpful in making my selection. She was very detailed in showing me a variety of eyewear as well as pricing options. I would refer my friends and family to Modern Family Vision

Provided by YP.comI can not thank you Modern Family Vision and Kim enough for suggesting that I try Digital Lenses for my eyeglasses. I was a little reluctant at first and hesitant to upgrade to digital lenses. My first thought was that I wear my contact lens most of the time and I did not think the difference, if any, would really matter or even be noticeable on those few occasions when I would wear my eyeglasses. Now I am sold! First, thanks to you and your staff for helping me to select a fabulous pair of frames. The color is great for my skin and I have a little bit of bling to set off the look. I have received several compliments on them. Second, I wore the new glasses with the digital frames for the first time on a Sunday after I had taken my contact lens out for my weekly cleaning. Usually whenever I would wear my regular eyeglasses, I could not wait to put my contact lens back in before the day has ended. Not true with my new glasses and digital lenses! I can wear these for days without even thinking about my contact lens. I find the vision to be as crisp as I have with my contact lens and far better than the regular eyeglasses. I especially thought that in the outdoors I would have the usual glare problem that I would have with my regular glasses, but even the glare seems to be reduced when looking out of my digital lenses. Third, my eyes always seemed to water and bother me causing me to continually rub my eyes, take the glasses on and off, etc, after wearing my regular eyeglasses for several hours. I do not have that problem with the digital lens. I am not sure what this means, but I take it as another reason to put down the regular lens and stick with the digital ones. Finally, Modern Family Vision you made me a believer. I would not go back to regular lenses. The difference in price is definitely worth it. I love, love, love my digital lens eyeglasses!

Provided by YP.comI had been trying to get my insurance benefits from BCBS and was on hold for so long I had to hang up I tried again on another day and got the same deal. I even went to my HR department with no help. I called Modern Family Vision to see if they knew what the standard benefits were for BCBS I spoke with a girl named Kayla and she said all plans are different but asked me my information and said she would handle it. The next day she called me back with all the information that neither myself nor my HR department could get. I was already happy when I walked in but after I saw the doctor I was even more satisfied. The entire staff was helpful.

Provided by YP.comMy daughter goes to school in Oklahoma she had her eyes examined during a school break. We decided to change out the lenses only keeping the same frame she had had for 2 years. Of course 4 months after we purchased the lenses my daughter broke her frame. The office manager agreed to replace the lenses into ANY frame my daughter chose for free AND she gave me 30% off on the frame. Now that is true customer service. The office manager was very concerned about my situation and was extremely helpful in keeping my cost down

Provided by YP.comI could not say enough wonderful things about Modern Family Vision I ordered contacts and was going out of town and worked late and could not make it to the office before they close. I work downtown...anyway I called the office at 6:10 HOPING SOMEONE would be there the office manager answered and said the phone rings to her cell after hours. She asked me what she could help with and i told her the story. She offered to go back to the office, open it up and then DELIVER my contacts to my house. REALLY this the old fashion service and i am very impressed. I will never go anywhere else.

Provided by YP.comI went to Modern Family Vision a couple of days ago when I woke up with a painful red eye. I called Modern Family Vision where I have gotten my eye exam before. They told me come in right away and that Dr. Castro would work me in. They also told me that the visit would be covered by my medical insurance and I only had to pay my copay. Dr. Castro checked my eye and told me I had an eye infection. She explained things where I could understand and gave me a sample of antibiotic. After 2 days on the antibiotic, my eye looks and feels much better!

Provided by YP.comIf I could give a negative rating I would. This was the worst experience , in any type of service industry, I have ever had. My family moved to Allen so I had to change eye doctors from the same Plano eye center that i've been frequenting for the past 6 yrs. Never once did I have a problem there. Modern Family Vision is a cesspool of incompetence and greed. Castro actually said, verbatim "your eyes are messed up" and she did not know why. Seriously??!?! That's your professional opinion? I have never been so angered in my whole life. My first visit was considered a medical and I paid a 15 copay. My second visit was a coerced one since she refused to write me a prescription until I had a follow up. So i drove home from school one weekend solely so I could have a prescription. I was told there would be no charge. My second visit ended up costing me a $82 copay despite the fact Lazarus did absolutely nothing other than repeat Castro's sentiment that I was seeing fine but not exactly 20/20 and that they did not know why.When I asked her what the problem was she did not tell me anything. This place is a farce of an office. They tried to schedule two more follow ups with me, and I had to explicitly tell them no. I STILL don't have a prescription for contacts. I cannot express how wholly unprofessional and ridiculous this place is.
