We rented an instrument through Music and Arts for our child for 2 years. We never had any dealings with them directly as it was all done through the school... until it was time to return it. We were instructed by Music and Arts to place an RA number on the instrument and lock it up in the cubby in the Band Hall. Next month, we received another bill. Upon calling to figure out why, they stated they never received the instrument. Long story short… the school can’t find it, so it was obviously picked up by Music and Arts. Apparently, even though we followed their procedure, and in all probability they picked it up, they are still holding us responsible for the instrument being lost. Not only did we almost pay enough in rental fees to purchase it, but they want us to pay additionally the full value. I’m fighting it, and even if I win it was a huge hassle. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. You have been warned.
