I used to shop at this store just because it was only a few minutes from my house and not because of it s friendly customer service and the variety of products.Additionally, the produce is of very poor quality. If you would like to purchase fresh produce, i suggest you drive to Meijer in Sandale. They are always shorthanded and even self checkout lanes have lines every time i used to go. The cashiers who oversee checkout lanes just stand around and are very selective about choosing customer to bag their groceries; Thus, the lines get backed up. I ve never seen the store manager (aka person in charge) on the line helping out. The clerks rarely greet you or make eye contact making you feel like at home unlike other stores i shop. The popcorn is frequently burned and the coffee is very water, undrinkable. Finally, they are not very consistent in applying their policies and do not want you talking to top management. The person in charge refused to provide his managers phone number when i had an issue. Finally, the prices are very high. Other merchants in Allendale certainly offer more competitive prices and better customer service. I am not going back...
