After searching for a psychiatrist for weeks with the help of my insurance company, I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Khan. I got to my appointment early but he was too busy redecorating his office and assisted me half an hour after I arrived with was at 8:40 am and he finally told me to sit in his office at 9:10am. That however, was not the issue. He asked me my age, marital status, nationality and work status. As soon as I informed him I was employed but on short term disability from work because of my condition, he cut me off and said he could not treat me. He said he does not treat people who are on disability because he doesn't want the hassle of having to fill out paperwork for Liberty Mutual on my health status. He said he does not get psid for filling out paperwork and his secretary only works part time. At no point whatsoever did he ask what my condition was, what I needed help for or how I felt. Upon hearing he was refusing to treat me I broke down crying. Dr. Khan handed me a tissue box, stood up and opened the door for me to leave. My mother and brother who were waiting for me outside asked me what happened so I began to explain. All of a sudden, Dr. Mohammad Khan stepped out and told us if we wanted to have a conversation we could do so outside. He also stated he wouldn't charge me for the visit, however I received no help, had to travel 25 minutes to see him and was treated like an absolute worthless dog. He was cruel, cold and more concerned about his money and convenience than anything else. DO NOT see this "doctor," he does not care for his patients in the least bit!
