The systems evaluated consist of the following generalized areas: Roofing and associated drainage systems, Exterior condition, Lot grading, Structural components, Windows, Doors, Built-in appliances, Electrical, Plumbing, Heating/Cooling and Ventilation, Insulation and safety related items. Using specialized circuit analyzers, we can test electrical systems in older homes for improper grounding often found when homeowners "upgrade" to three prong outlets. Moisture meters are used to help determine if water stains are from active leaks. These are just an example of some of the tools used in order to best represent the condition of the home. A home inspection is also your chance to become more familiar with the home you are purchasing. We take the time to educate you on the specific systems in the house as well as maintenance items to preserve your home for years to come. Our promise to you: Upon delivery of the inspection report, if you feel that you did not receive a thorough and comprehensive report, just ask and we will give you a refund.
