Be careful and do your research before you decide to give these crooks your money. They cut corners with their supplies and paints hoping the homeowners wouldn't notice, happened to me, DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY, and their so called owner David Sobrinski is a joke, very condescending.

We had them paint the exterior of our house and it looks beautiful. They were clean, punctual, the lowest in cost and the highest in professionalism.

Very poor customer service! I mailed them a certified check for $3000 . They requested this before starting the work . Now they've missed two appointments and are refusing to give me back my money . Warning : stay far away. There is no supervisor or person of reason . They only have a guy named Jason and he must be best friends with the owner because all customer complaints about him go on deaf ears. Will never use them again ! Crooks

I have only known Sobrinski st...

I have only known Sobrinski staff to be exctremely accomadating and helpful in their dealings with us. They went out of their way to fix a problem that wasn't even theirs to fix. They were very professional and although I paid a little more for my project than I would have liked to, it's true that you get what you pay for. I'm a picky customer, and an informed one. I found Sobrinski to be a solid company, with knowledable and friendly workers. I would highly recommend. All too often people only post reviews when they are negative. I give credit where credit is due.

Regrets

I am a person who expects outstanding quality. I expect a contractor to treat my residence as my home and not simply a work site. I expect workmanship as close to perfection as possible, and I am willing to pay a fair and reasonable price for such work. The following is completely my opinion as a consumer. I am not a certified contractor, nor an expert in any aspect of construction.

In my view, numerous mistakes were made during the renovation of a master bathroom and installation of vinyl flooring in the kitchen. The company worked very hard to correct most of the mistakes. The project manager went out of his way to achieve satisfactory results. The company sent in additional manpower and other resources to meet my expectations. The result was virtual perfection in the tile work and carpentry. Hardwood flooring and carpeting were expertly and meticulously installed.

However, vinyl flooring was laid over previous vinyl in the kitchen without the use of a leveling compound to fill in the embossed pattern of the underlying vinyl. Even though I questioned the need for a leveling compound during the installation of the vinyl, it was not used. (It is my understanding that a leveling compound is necessary when applying vinyl over vinyl. This information can be verified through vinyl manufacturers, most flooring installers, and through numerous websites.) A few days after the initial installation, the embossed pattern of the underlying vinyl began to show through the new vinyl and is now readily apparent. Mr. Sobrinski made no attempt to fix the problem.

Unfortunately, I made the full final payment before insisting that this problem be corrected. I obtained a written estimate from another flooring contractor to correct the problem at a cost of a little over $3,000.

I sent Mr. Sobrinski a certified letter detailing my frustrations with this project. I received an e-mail response that ended with, "Please find another service in the future."

I took pictures and pursued the flooring matter through a suit in small claims court. Despite photographic evidence, the judge determined that the flooring installer had no way of reasonably knowing that the problem would occur, and that I was not a flooring expert. The judge ruled in favor of Patrick Sobrinski and Sobrinski Painting.

This was not fun. And although some parts of my home are absolutely beautiful, the shadowy lines on the kitchen floor are a daily reminder of the frustration I've experienced. If I ever have another contractor work on my home, I will insist on an extensive detailed written contract that outlines every little nuance of the project, as well as my expectations for the quality of workmanship that will be acceptable. And I will never again give final payment before every last detail of a project is finished to my complete satisfaction.

Very Poor Customer Service

They called immediately to schedule an appt to come do an estimate, after I submitted a request for an estimate on servicemagic, then called to ask if they could change the time to an early date. I had my boyfriend arrange his schedule so he was up and awake to meet the estimator. The estimator arrived at the house while my boyfriend was indisposed (rest room). My boyfriend immediately wrapped something around himself to answer the door so the estimator didn't leave, asked that he wait a moment so he get better composed. The estimator then got in his car and drove off, without telling my boyfriend he was leaving. When I called Sobrinski to ask what happened, they had just received a call from the estimator that he would prefer not to do the job. They didn't offer any explanation, offer to schedule someone else, or even apologize. They simply hung up the phone. I was deeply insulted. My boyfriend was just trying to ensure the estimator did not think no one was home due to the c
