I have been dealing with them since 8/09. first they told i counld not set up my email account untill i received my frist bill and when i did i was told to put the code in they gave me, it still did not work it was invaild so i just tossed it out and went thru another email service. now i can not get to my statement online or download the Charter Security Suite without the pin or codes, they are rude, i wish there was another internet service provider in my area

Don't be fooled! Although Charter offers excellent service, they will take your money without your permisson. I have been dealing with this problem for over 2 weeks now. My bank tells me that they took the money that is missing, which was straight out of my checking account. Charter says that they didn't. There was papers faxed to their Management department proving that they did, yet the same answer is that they did not. How can they have no record of taking the money, yet the proof I have shows that they did? Why would a company even do that. It is not that it is a big deal, it is the fact that they say there is no record of it and will not even credit my bill for it. My bank tells me that my fiance and I have to go up there and fill out papers to dispute it. Yes this will give us our money back, but we also have the chance for it to come back out if by chance they find out where the money actually went. I think this is crap that we have to go through this.
