Situated conveniently just west of Georgia 400 in Alpharetta, Georgia, Oak Grove Academy is a private school designed to meet the needs of contemporary children as they embrace the world of learning. As a private, non-franchise early childhood learning center, the Oak Grove Academy owners, management, and staff have created a unique, caring, inviting, yet stimulating learning environment.Oak Grove Academy was opened in 1999 by grandparents with a desire to create a special place for their grandchildren. Several years later, they find themselves the grandparents to 170 or more happy children. Their unique hands-on approach is evident by their presence and caring relationship with each family. Parents and children instantly feel the loving atmosphere and pleasant environment offered by these grandparents.We are proud of our accreditation by the Georgia Accrediting Commission, Inc We provide 20 hours of accredited training each year in addition to CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety training for our staff to enrich your child's early childhood care and learning experiences. We believe that we must create a partnership with our parents in order to provide this environment of love, learning, laughter, and safety for EACH child. Our shared goal is to provide our children and families a positive and rewarding experience!Many of the local private and public elementary schools recommend Oak Grove Academy to their potential parents. They cite the advanced curriculum, structured program, caring environment, knowledge and experience of the teaching staff. The general preparedness of the students entering their schools after attending Oak Grove Academy is noticeable to other educators.Oak Grove Academy provides children with an environment that encourages the maximization of their potential through education, socialization, and love. Management and staff are comprised of individuals for whom the development of children, both as students and as people, is a passion.
