Provided by YP.comWe had a slow leak and were worried because we have 21" wheels. Not a problem. Mr. Morton does not keep 21" tires, but he does have the special tools necessary for more exotic makes. He had us back on the road in 30 min. If you're lucky, Mr. M. will be hanging out in the front office telling stories.

Provided by YP.comWe were on our way to Alpine for the Cowboy Poetry Gathering and had a blowout on a 5th wheel trailer tire coming into Del Rio. We put our spare on and began looking for tire options in Alpine. Oasis Tire seemed to be the only place, so we called. This was on a Thursday, and the next tire delivery would be Monday around noon. We were scheduled to leave Monday morning, but had no choice but to wait. The truck arrived at 10:45, and we were gone by noon. Morton was friendly and reassuring during the wait, and the service people were efficient and capable. The price was about what we would have paid at home. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone, travelers included.

Provided by YP.comOUT OF TOWNERS AVOID this place!
My initial contact with owner Martin was positive and he ordered rotors/pads to replace my rear brakes. When I arrived for my appointment, I asked a customary/standard question: "What is the warranty on the parts?"
Martin became angry and checked with NAPA
and told me 12 months/12,000 miles but NO written warranty would be provided. I asked how one from out of town (like me) ensures an effective warranty and Martin became irate and said he "didn't want to do the job" on my vehicle and that he "had enough business." I strongly urge out of town persons looking for brake work/tires to avoid Oasis Tire.

Provided by YP.comDo not go there! The owner, Morton, is abusive and rude. And his employees are sloppy, at best. I've been buying tires there for more than 15 years, when he was still operating from a shack on Holland Avenue. And I saw the 'evolution' over the years. I just spent $740.00 for four tires, and he started an argument because I used a can of sealant when I got a flat in the middle of nowhere at 2:00AM!!!! And last time I went there, they didn't put back correctly the hub caps and I lost one. Which Morton said it was not true. Enough! Being the only tire shop in town obviously went to his head. From now on I'll drive my cars 56 miles to Fort Stockton and deal with decent people, with decent prices and a decent attitude. We need to have another tire shop in Alpine, and he'll then realize what his customers think when he loose his business. I'm giving one-star rating to this man because there is no possibility to give none.

Provided by YP.comDo NOT go their!! Their work is absolutely dangerous. They did my brakes on my van and beat on the brake caliper breaking off the teeth like part of the caliper, which let it go down on the caliper and drag , they bent the brake shield to where it scraped making horrible noise. When I went back in The owner, Morton, I think is his name, he yelled, called me a lier, said I always lie, then he started cussing me out, until my son-in-law stepped up by me. This man is dangerous. I could not believe it.

Provided by YP.comI bought $1400 worth of tires here for my motorhome. They beat up my $450 set of wheelliners and did an absolutely DANGEROUS job installing the tires.. The valve stems are wrong, and are plagued with leaks. At least one is destined for a blowout. These people are local yokel rednecks at their worst. They are the only tire dealer in town and act like it.
