My car was making a terrible noise and I knew that I shouldn’t be driving it until the problem was diagnosed. All shops were booked for weeks but Turnpike Auto welcomed me to come in at the end of their long day to at least see what the problem was. It turned out to be loose heat shield hardware that they fixed on the spot at an extremely affordable rate. Stress free evening thanks to above and beyond service.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with getting my car fixed in a timely manner ,Mark had my car in and out in under three hours and had found the problem and replaced my starter in that time,Cannot recommend him enough ,all my automotive needs are going to his shop now A++++ service and Timeliness

Responding to a third party negative review. First of all it might help to get the facts straight before reviewing. Facts tend to be exaggerated and omitted when only one side of the story is gathered. There are at least 4 of these instances in that review. Regarding the vehicle yes its true I don't like working on VWs and that's a well known fact. Furthermore if you own one that's 14 years old and well past its prime be ready to dig deep for its upkeep. I never expressed or have a dislike for that customer. The issues were discussed with her and her boyfriend when they picked the car up. Some people are easy to deal with and some are not. I will only say that if you are truly a friend of the family then you should know the challenges already. As for my carside manner that has always been a work in progress and I don't mind constructive criticism. Some people I butt heads with and most I get along just fine.

Generations of my family have used Turnpike Auto for YEARS because Mark is that type of hard to find, honest and efficient mechanic who won't keep your car held up for days on end. His business has always been word of mouth because he doesn't need fancy advertising. Use him once and you'll be referring your friends and family too.

I've been using Turnpike for ~ 2 years for service of the three cars in my family. The facility doesn't look great but I'm very pleased with the service I've received. I think the owner (Mark) is a skilled mechanic but, more importantly, I've found him to be very honest. He thoroughly explains the problems he finds and the various alternatives for fixing those problems.
