Provided by YP.comDr. Yungman misdiagnosed me twice when I went to see him re: a growth on my upper lip. First he said it was Dermatitis and gave me some ointment. The growth never went away. Went back a 2nd time, and this time he froze the area only for it to reappear again. I went to my long time Dermatologist who is now on my insurance plan and I have squamous cell carcinoma and may possibly have to have MOH's surgery. Waiting on the biopsy results now. I should sue him for malpractice as now the growth is larger and possibly deeper from when I first went. The other thing is the last visit, I waited 1 1/2 hours past my appt. time to see him only to spend a few minutes with him while he froze.

Provided by YP.comThis practice is horrible. I went for an appointment in Nov. for a potential skin cancer & it was frozen but never biopsied. I went back in June for a follow-up & it was biopsied but my pathology report which showed I had skin cancer (basal cell) was never called in to me. I had to chase it down. My calls to the doctor & nurse were never returned. I was told that I had to make another appointment to speak with the doctor. Then I received a call from someone in the office saying my insurance wasn't verified so I needed to get an approval thru my primary care physician. That wasn't the case. I already had 2 appointments & paid cash each time. $500 later, I was told by this same person that I needed to have my skin cancer cut out & if I wanted to discuss other options I needed to make another appointment. I have no idea who this woman was but she said that this type of cancer is cut out & that I had no other options (untrue & she was not in a position to make that statement.) I decided to go to another dermatologist & get a second opinion. I decided to call the office manager & voice my complaint & how unprofessional the staff was. Their nurse called me back 2 weeks later to say that the woman who called about my insurance made a mistake.
This was not only a bad experience but I wasn't treated with care or compassion. I was told by my new doctor that because the lesion was between my breasts that he would not recommend a surgical removal but a less invastive procedure, which I have already had. I'm very happy with Dr. Knipe, my new doctor & the outcome of the procedure.

The 2009 reviewer of this place is spot on - it's completely a money making mill as of my experience in 2011, 2012 and 2013. They consistently force you into scheduling extra unnecessary appointments, even when you're an existing patient, and if you express a concern about a mole while you're there, they dismiss the concern and tell you that they'll check it on your next follow up visit - months later... Since I'm interested in preventing death by cancer, I will NOT be visiting this establishment again.
