Juan DeJesus Diaz, D.O., F.A.C.P., joined IDC in 2007 and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of Houston and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University, completing his Internship, Residency, and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the University of South Florida. Dr. Diaz has specialized training in Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care and serves as Affiliate Professor at both the University of South Florida and the University of Central Florida. Dr. Diaz is Chairman of Infection Prevention at Florida Hospital in Orlando and an active member of several professional organizations, including the Infectious Disease Society of America.
