Had the burrito and enchilada combo
- wow was it bad bland ground beef and sauce tasted sweet should cut the menu selection significantly and focus on quality skip eating here

So delicious! I always enjoy the food and atmosphere. They are difficult to understand but charming. Excellent service. Everything is delicious, fresh and food is served hot so your cheese is all melty and yummy! They serve the warm chips with salsa and i also get the queso dip. It is so good!! It is an excellent place to go out with your friends.

El Campesino has the best tasting authentic Mexican food in Altoona. I especially love the Chimi Chunga. but they have many other choices, even vegetarian options.

their servers are mostly Mexicans, but do a fairly good job speaking English. on very rare occasion, you'll get a server that's slightly difficult to understand, but if you point to the menu, they can help.

the atmosphere is very enjoyable with a slightly Mexican them to it. they can handle larger parites with their tables, but are mostly setup for parties up to 4 people.

they also have awesome Mexican type desserts. and also serve alcohol and soda.

a must stop for authentic Mexican food. I like El Campesino over Taco Bell and Tijuana Flats, and preferred it over Don Pablo's when it was open.
