i have been a client to Nail Elegance for many many years now. They all are friendly and definately go out of their way to accomodate you. They give you exactly what you ask for. Of course, i have my favorites :} but im very specific about what i want nd they def deliver. Service is great. ive been to many nail salons in Altoona, nd never got the same results. i will never go anywhere else. Nail Elegance is the place to be.

Don't ever and I mean ever go for permanent eye make up ! Very Bad I wish I could show you the pictures but am to embarrassed to show. It was a gift from my sister I went in to show them and felt that they should refund part of the money that my sister paid very very rude!!! What a waste of a very expensive procedure!!!!!

I went in there yesterday following a friend's recommendation, and from the moment I went in, I regretted it. They were rude and treated me like they didn't want to deal with me. I was nothing but nice the entire time and didn't deserve the treatment I got. He argued with me that you can't change your acrylic to a lighter color, which I've done a hundred times. I would swear that he was trying to hurt me with the dremmel tool as well. He was pushing really hard and had it on a really high speed. He did my nails and passed me over to his wife, who was also rude to me. I showed her a picture of my friend's nails that she had gotten there just a few days prior, and she told me that they couldn't do the same design. That if I were to get the design with the very same rhinestones that my friend had gotten there just days before, it would look terrible. She also refused to put the gel polish (that is used for the pink and white acrylic that I have) because it would again, look bad. This is the worst customer service I've ever had in my life and I will never go back there.

I've had my nails done by lots of different techs before, but no one does nails as well as John from Nail Elegance! I had nails for 5 years when I worked for a jewelry store in the mall- so I went to a salon there in the mall. Now that I never go to the mall, but I do go to Walmart I decided to try Nail Elegance. I can be a little fussy about my nails, but John has never disappointed me. There is never any lifting- never. Even tho they do take walk-ins I'd call ahead to make sure you can get John. I always make an appointment.
