Roosevelt Elementary School provides regular education classes to more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade four. The school supports the Title I reading program, as well as organizes bilingual classes. Roosevelt Elementary School s library provides physical and intellectual access to reference materials in multiple formats and ensures that students are effective users of ideas and information. The school is a part of Altus Public Schools, which also includes Altus Junior High School, Altus Intermediate School, Sunset Elementary School and Washington Elementary School. Roosevelt Elementary School has a business partnership with Wal-Mart. The school also maintains a parent-teacher organization. It is located in Altus, Okla.
