I live in Santa Fe, Texas, I was in need of a small dumpster for a spring cleaning of the garage. Since It seems I can only use this business here in the county I inquired about renting a dumpster for a couple of days.
Well they only do a rental for 3 months. Really???
Being this is the only service I can use being in the county, as no other is allowed, they use this to squeeze the most money out of the people.
Not very customer friendly, and have a monopoly on the trash business and they use that fact against you.

This business has the worst customer service on the planet. You are always in the wrong no matter what. They are rude, and smart mouthed. They make people extremely upset when trying to deal with them. I just did a test to prove it with my friends that were complaining. I hope they go out of business soon!
The City of Santa Fe needs a better Trash Company like Waste Management. You can not win with this Company!

Very bad service. They were supposed to pick up my trash yesterday and I called and they told me they were going to pick it up later. Today my trash is still out there and they haven't sent no one to pick it up. It's been almost 2 days that my trash has been out there. I don't recommend Ameriwaste.

We were zoned League City a few months ago which made our trash service have to be changed. With that our neighborhood is now split as well between two different cities so half the neighborhood gets one trash service and another half has Ameriwaste.
This was months ago when the swap happened and we have YET to get a recycling bin from them. They said we had to put our recycling items in a clear trash bag and place by the road until they can get recycling bins out.
We had better service from a company out of state than we do with a company down the road... such a joke and hopefully will get it together sooner than later!!

So I heard the truck pull up this morning and in front of it was a pickup truck. I walked out to ask a few questions. The man driving the truck was very friendly. The woman in the truck not so much. (Very rude) I asked about the recycle tubs and cans. The woman said these are not trash cans they are for recycle. The driver of the truck asked her for a card and explained if I call the number on the card they would bring one out. I looked over and 2 of my four cans were empty and the truck was pulling off. I asked the woman in the truck why two cans were left full. She replied again very mater-of-factly that this truck was only for recycle. I then asked why then did they take two cans of trash. The lady started to drive off. I called out to her and she said as she was pulling off that the other truck was a few streets over and it would be by soon enough. This not the first, second or even tenth ninth time that only part of my trash was picked up or scattered all around my front yard after the truck pulled away.

I've had Ameriwaste when I lived in Hitchcock, and now I have it in Santa Fe. Service has never been a problem. We don't have a trash can in Santa Fe, so we just place bags out. Haven't had a problem with animals getting into it in my subdivision. Driver and helpers seem to be really nice and always wave if they see me outside. They also pick up on a few holidays, which is nice. And the pick up is twice a week.

Avoid if you can. They change their collection policy whenever they feel like it. We live in uninc Galveston County, so we have no other providers. We purchased a very expensive 96 gallon toter trash can that AW has picked up the last 3 years. Now, they've decided to ban them! So we had to invest $250 to buy the smaller rollaway cans that they allow now. What a waste of money. What a joke of a company.

I called to inquire how I would get the "recycle bins" to put out with my trash. The lady who answered was so nice. I wish I had taken her name. She researched and found out my city does not carry the bins anymore, however, I could come to their location in Alvin and pick them up. Without my asking, she further went on to give directions, including landmarks, and informed me of their weekend hours in the event I couldn't get to there before they closed. A wonderful experience.

I had a couple missed pick ups at first but they offered to come back out the next day and were very courteous over the phone. Now I have had Ameriwaste for approx 1 year and have had no more problems with them. Hopefully they will not start increasing their price every 3 months like the last service I had. If they do, I will get another service or start burning my own garbage. Hopefully I won't have to resort to that but being on a fixed income - you have to make sacrifices.

this guys do the best to make there customers happy, they go out there way and they do a clean owsome job, I would recomend this company to all and anyone who needs services.

bad service! Joy is rude and does not treat her customers well. i set up for auto debit, and 6MOS later service was interruppted. I call and they say LAST MONTH my CC was declined. no one called, and no letter was sent. There auto debit is they entering my cc # manually every month.(and they only run it once) Joy was just diffcult, and treated me like someone who doesn't pay her bills, impling several times it was declined due to lack of funds, which is competly impossible. Then she wanted my to actually show her proof there were funds in my accout on that day or she was gonna charge a $25.00 reinstatement fee. i am looking for new service elsewhwere.
