THE AMARILLO AREA BAR ASSOCIATION Welcome to the website of Amarillo Area Bar Association ( AABA ), a non-profit professional organization for attorneys. The AABA provideseducation, professional development, and service programs for both thelegal profession and the community. First established in 1910 for the purpose of securing a Court ofAppeals in Amarillo, our association now serves the legal community andthe public in the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. We celebrated our Centennial in 2010. Please feel free to browse this site using all the links on thispage. Our Attorney Locator Service is designed to provide contactinformation and other data to the public about all current AABA members. AABA meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 11: 45a.m. in the Sunburst Room at Amarillo Club ( 30th Floor ). ONLINE DIRECTORY: Only AABA members are featured in the onlinedirectory at www.amarillobar.org, which is available for the publicworldwide to use in searching for and selecting an attorney in theAmarillo area. LUNCHEONS: Our lunch meetings each month include outstandingspeakers and CLE programs. AABA Member $16.00, Non-Members $20.00 AMA-LAW: After October, only AABA Members will receive a monthlyissue of the AMA-LAW, which keeps everyone informed about events andlocal issues in our legal community. SPRING INSTITUTE: AABA members will enjoy the golf tournament, theCLE seminar, and the Spring Institute dinner on April 29-30, 2011.
