Dr. Dean Armstrong is a General and Cosmetic Dentist and has been serving the Amarillo, TX area since 1978. He is a member of American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Master, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, Panhandle Academy of General Dentistry and Panhandle District Dental Society. Dr. Armstrong has also received several awards, including Texas Super Dentist (Peer Nominated & Awarded) by the Texas Monthly Publication from 2006 to 2016, Lifetime Award by American Dental Association in 2016, and he was nominated as “Texas Dentistry of the Year” by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry in 2008.

Wisdom teeth - quick recovery, great work, and kind service, even with my needlephobia

I struggle with Needlephobia, so finding a dentist to do my wisdom teeth extraction was difficult. Dr. Armstrong was courteous towards my fear of needles and used gas. My wisdom teeth were at odd angles, but he got them out with no complications during or after the surgery. He followed up promptly and thoroughly.
