I responded to an ad placed by Gary Chomiski of Chomiski Performance. The ad was for a five (5) stage oil pump. I e-mailed Mr. Chomiski and he followed up the e-mail to confirm that he had a five stage pump in excellent condition. He quoted a price of $800, which I felt was fair for what he had advertised. I purchased the pump and upon receiving it found out that it had been damaged, poorly repaired and most of all was not a five stage oil pump as Mr. Chomiski advertised and stated. Although the price as advertised would have been reasonable, what I received was nowhere near the value and unusable to me. I confirmed through Moroso the manufacturer of the pump that this was not a five stage pump and was not a proper application for my engine combination.

I then contacted Mr. Chomiski again trying to find a solution. After a couple of phone calls I was told that if someone called Mr. Chomiski looking for this particular pump he would be glad to give them my phone number. And that even though he admittedly misrepresented the part he had no intention of standing behind the parts ordered from him. Apparently Mr. Chomiski does this as a business and unfortunately people like him, especially in the economic times we have, only add to the problems that we are seeing in our sport and in our economy in general.
