Went to visit a friend who is a new renter at Hunter's Crossing. By the time I left, I had a headache, my clothes and hair stunk like dog urine and cigarette smoke. The previous renter had a dog and must have been a chain smoker. There are still urine stains on the carpet. Management has promised to replace the padding and carpeting for two weeks now but the only thing that has been done is attempts at deodorizing. Pathetic. I don't even want to go back over there. I still smelled like smoke and urine when I got home, even after being outside for awhile. Management seems very sweet and sympathetic but does absolutely nothing to resolve this horrific problem. There is also black mold around the tub and the wall looks like it has caved in at one time and a poor repair job was done. Even some of the tiles are still a bit loose on the tub wall. I feel so bad for my friend. This is his first apartment. He doesn't deserve to live in filth like that.



I told him to contact the Health Department. I'm sure they would be interested in seeing (smelling) the living conditions of this place and checking the place for black mold.
