Coming into 6th Street Mall is like walking back in time; all the
displays just grab your attention! So easy to stay for hours, seeing things remembered from Grandma and Grandpa's
house. Old West memorabilia. Boots, hats, Native American
baskets. Lots of collectible glassware. And furniture! Love it!

Get lost....but the good kind of lost...

There are so many things to look at in the Sixth Street Antique Mall, you'll lose track of time. That's my kind of shopping experience!
The owners..or should I say, "proprietors?"...are living the dream of working at what you love. These people know their antiques and collectibles. They're always open for questions. They've even done club lectures around town!
This is a great place to stop along I-40 or Route 66. It's enough to make Amarillo a shopping destination, too. Round out your trip with the American Quarter Horse Museum and the musical Texas, and you've really done vacation West Texas style.
For locals, leave the kids at home, and use the browsing time to unwind and remember the good ol' days.

Just a wonderful shopping experience ! The lady behind the counter yelled at my 11 year old Granddaughter for no apparent reason ! She was just looking at a figurine behind a locked glass display ! This lady needs to retire !! They need to post at sign at the door saying WE HATE CHILDREN SO PLEASE DON"T BRING THEM IN HERE !! I won't be back !! If you have children no matter what the age, shop at the NAT or ALLEY KATZ"S they tend to LOVE children at their shops !! What a terrible shop !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EXCELLENT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

It is a wonderful old building full of all kinds of antique furniture and linens and just anything you might want to collect. They have western items that I didn't know existed and their pottery was superb. Just looking at the collection of clocks was a step back in time. If items that just remind you of grandma are what you are looking for, you will find them there. Some of the antique cookware almost made me smell grandma's kitchen. I recognized lots of things and kept wondering what grandma did with them. If you want the upscale collectors' items and the unique---you absolutely will not be disappointed. I learned a lot about Roseville, VanBriggle, Gonder and other lovely potteries. Better take a lunch!!! You can't enjoy this shop without spending some time. It is well-worth a stop along your vacation route!!! The staff has a no pressure approach and they are full of west Texas humor and charm. Everything felt laid back and comfortable. They said that it is the West Texas way of life.
