Took the car in for AC suddenly not working. This car was a similar model to another which behaved the same & turned out to be an HP hose. Told them likely HP hose leak. They called & said AC climate control broken, replaced with a used older (not functionally the same) unit and charged the system.





Charged over $500. Then, less than 2 days later same problem, took it back. This time they say, oh, your HP hose is leaking, need to charge you AGAIN $200 to fix & recharge.





I suspected that the AC climate control was NOT bad and had another shop check it and re-install. Yup, not bad.





Went back asking for refund of first try since wrong diagnosis & botched recharge. Nope, only refunded$ $337 of $515 saying the first evac & recharge was not refundable.





Incompetent!
