The American Fork Recreation is a department governed by the American Fork City in Utah, which also operates engineering, fire, finance, planning and police departments. The American Fork City, established in 1853, has a council that consists of a mayor and more than five council members. The American Fork Recreation offers various sports activities for youths that include basketball, baseball, volleyball, football, soccer, tennis and softball. Additionally, the department provides skiing and wrestling activities for students in grades 3 through 12. It organizes a variety of tournaments and events. The department also organizes jazz sessions.
