I have been shopping at Recreation Outlet for decades and recently my visits have more than exceeded my expectations. I was greeted and helped by the knowledgable staff. They have cleaned up the store and are more organized that I have ever seen in the past. This is a great place to purchase anything in a budget.

We had looked at RO earlier in the day. Only one of several employees was helpful so we decided to shop around. We came back right at 9:00 to grab one item. We didn't expect it to be a problem because there were still several customers browsing in the store and we knew exactly what we needed. The minute we stepped inside the store, an employee shouted from across the store "we're closed." I asked if we could grab the one item and was told that they had closed the register - which was likely a lie; how would the customers in the store make their purchases if that were true?

Long story short, one employee was helpful earlier in the day, but the closing employees made it very apparent that they don't need our business so we will not darken their door again.

We strongly encourage management to require soft skills training for all employees, as the majority of employees we encountered were rude and condescending not to mention ignorant and inept.
